I've been renting from the Gateway Centre for 10 years. I've referred dozens of friends, business associates and acquaintances and I even did a radio testimonial for them a few years ago. Recently, the customer service has taken a nosedive, and they're making it very difficult for me to continue to do business with them. For the past 6 years, my company has used the Gateway Centre for virtual office space. We rent out office by the hour to meet with our customers when we need a professional setting. Unfortunately, with scarcely 2 weeks notice, the Gateway Centre completely changed their policy and no longer rent out their offices by the hour, making our virtual tenancy agreement with them essentially worthless. The solution they offered would have effectively doubled our monthly cost. This left me in a difficult spot having to find a new office to accommodate the needs of my clients at roughly the same cost as before on very short notice. Additionally, the way this news was delivered was abrupt and curt and occurred just as I was about to go into a professional meeting with a prospective employee. In my view, this was highly unprofessional way to deliver the news. I understand policies change, but it would have been nice to have received notice with a longer time period in order to find a viable solution. We tried to troubleshoot this with the manager, but unfortunately there was zero flexibility on his part and an unwillingness to go compromise or accommodate our needs. If I had a loyal customer of 10 years, I think I would have tried to make accommodations to keep their loyalty. Unfortunately, the Gateway Centre didn't agree. If you are looking for a virtual tenant situation with occasional day office use, I would look elsewhere.

My law firm has been at Gateway for the past two years. The staff are incredible, they provide great service to my clients and to me. I considered a lot of options when I decided to move my firm out of downtown, and Gateway has the best combination of services, reasonable prices and amenities available in Whatcom County. Highly recommend as an office space for professionals.

I've been using the Gateway Center for several years. I originally started out as a virtual tenant and then we moved into an office space. The building and staff are great. New management took over a couple of years ago and overall feel is much more professional. I highly recommend the Gateway Centre to anyone looking for office space in the Bellingham!
