CBUS has a maker space and it's amazing. Located in the slowly but steadily rebuilding Franklinton reclamation projects, the Idea Factory is an old factory being turned into a great community learning and maker space. I've visited twice and it's always in some level of change, but you'll see some amazing samples of the work being done here where ever you look. Took a Raspberry Pi class, good fun, laid back atmosphere, knowledgeable instructor and good value. Will definitely be taking other classes here.

No greater place to make things in Columbus; and getting more impressive by the day

Took the CNC router class and the woodworking class. Both were excellent. Can't wait to get my membership going! I have so many ideas for things I could do there.

took a welding class here. well done. classes cost anywhere from 40 on up and monthly membership is 35 per month. worth it for the networking alone.
