Brilliant day at SocietyM Glasgow. Staff were super helpful (even when I was having massive technical issues) and the catering was spot on. The rooms are quirky which I love but the screen was a bit small for my needs in the way the room was set up.

I have used the SocietyM meeting rooms on a number of occasions for my Training sessions. We always use the larger room and I must say it is the BEST. Everything from the staff, to the lunch, to the drinks trolley and general environment for break out sessions is just perfect. A very modern environment which feels like a real treat for everyone attending. Lunch is always delicious and fresh and no one every complains and the drinks trolley is so quirky and fun! The IT equipment and pencils and paper finish off the room to a very high standard. I also stay in the bedrooms prior to my meetings and find the large beds with the mood lighting so comfy and having the tablet controlling everything again just adds a modern and fun touch. I highly recommend this hotel for business, for pleasure or even for a drink or bit to ear in their restaurant and bar which I have enjoyed on many occasions.

Fantastic facilities - exactly what we were looking for. Staff were super-helpful and professional. Food and drink perfect - breakfast pastries/bacon muffins, light lunch, and afternoon cakes delicious and just right to keep us going but concentrate on the task in hand. Plenty of tea/coffee/water/soft drinks. The boss loved the funky decor and white and black board walls, good AV set up. Plenty of space upstairs with comfy sofas to chill out by the bar with a team drink after our day's brainstorming. We will be back again. Thanks.

The meeting experience was ok, I'd give it 3.5 if I could. The hotel is lovely, no question of that. But I certainly wasn't blown away by the meeting service if I'm honest. The room was nice, the in room facilities were okay, though we had to go ask for a flipchart, despite being told at booking we'd have a white wall to write on. Breakfast rolls weren't particularly warm. We had to chase down water on several occasions. They set lunch up in another area of the hotel, didn't tell us and we were waiting for half an hour before I approached someone to ask where it was. The person I spoke to was adamant I had asked for it in the lounge area, and insisted 'we were wondering where you were' and 'you requested it be set up upstairs' only after I disputed this fact a few times did he check and realise I had not asked for it to be set up elsewhere. We went to the food rather than wait any longer and the eating area was awkward and uncomfortable. I dont enjoy eating my lunch balanced on my knee, in a chair I have to perch on. All in all it was quite an amateurish set up. It looked great, but failed to deliver and it's highly unlikely I'll arrange a meeting there again. There are plenty of other hotels where I've had better service.

We had a great experience at SocietyM from start to finish! The meeting space was perfect for our event - informal, original and quirky. SocietyM staff could not have been any more helpful and efficient, ensuring the day ran smoothly. I highly recommend this venue to anyone organising an event for a stress-free, enjoyable experience!
