I am part of the lucky ones that has her office in Salon 1861. The place is clean, coffee 24h/7, people are awesome and the Salon organize many meetups and activities :-)

Great decor. They did a great job saving the heritage of the building's old life as a church.

It's located in a residential area. They claim to have the support of the community... they do not. City bylaws are such that anyone renting it will have to turn off any loud music after 11. The residents living on Richmond will make sure of it. If you're thinking of renting this place and are planing on playing loud music, I would reconsider.
