Edit: After moving here from another WeWork a month ago, I realize I like the hospitality, amenities, and free-food events at the other one better. The one at Fine Arts has bigger kitchen spaces and more options for beer and coffee. --- It's one of those dream work environments that you never thought would ever happen in your lifetime. I still am in disbelief that I come here to see this beautiful view every day. It's a very laid back and hip vibe at WeWork. Tons of young professionals in the same building, only causing one to be more motivated at work. They treat you well with free coffee and fun events every now and then.
PROs: -private space or share common area -safe and secure -friendly service and help -I've seen doggies in the building, so I might bring my own. Just need to show certificate of vaccinations. -an app for community forums and events -a little on the $$ side but with the amazing view and the privacy it is definitely worth it. CON: No free parking, just LUXE, a third party mobile valet app (who is also in the building) Tried it already once and pretty satisfied with them also.
We work's dtla office space is great and it's reasonable to pick up some desk space there. It's spacious and the staff is friendly and it's close to the metro.
The event that I went to was located in this building on the 35th floor with an amazing view. Ironically, it was for the launch of a new photography app that connects photographers to clients on demand. For the launch, the photographers who were already signed up got the chance to showcase their skills and new clients were treated to free headshots and scenic shot sessions for 15 minute increments. Not only that, there was this really awesome caricature artist by the name of John Alex present drawing on the digital screen. The Appster crew put together the event for Onthethr3, which is a kind of snazzy way of saying get ready for your picture to be taken on the count of 3. The appetizers that were served were great and tasty. Cut up pieces of fruit in a cup, grilled mozzarella and tomato bisque was nostalgic (took me back to the days of working at this summer camp), and what looked to be banana pudding topped with vanilla wafers for dessert. I love free food while I'm working....they just go hand in hand so well. The turn out of the event was really well, many people were signed up for the app and got their headshots taken that night and more than likely saw it the next day since the turnover rate is approximately 12 hours. Shellie and Zach were the go to IT peeps to work out all the kinks for a smooth running finish, the photographers took nice pictures that was added to their portfolio that can be seen in the app before you schedule them, and Arielle was the person who made the call for John Alex to be present for caricatures while people waited and socialized.
Super expensive parking
