Good place...a nice coworking space with all required needs and center of the city..

Grind is a welcoming, convenient, comfortable place to work. The space occupies an entire floor of an office building in the Loop and has been furnished with plenty of chairs, tables, couches, and electrical outlets with a sort of minimalist modern look. Large floor to ceiling windows give you a view of the city outside. It makes for a relaxing and inspiring environment. There's free Intelligentsia coffee (including pour over accessories if you're a coffee snob), tea, and snacks as well as space to store your own food if you want. The staff is accommodating, helpful, and attentive. Sometimes they even do things like go out and get cupcakes as a surprise for everyone working! The culture of those working there is professional and respectful; conversations are held with an awareness that others around are working. Finally, the location in the Loop means plenty of nearby conveniences (restaurants, stores, etc). I'm happy to have found a workspace like Grind.

After 2 years as a member at Grind-LaSalle I have the perspective of a 'veteran'. Operating a company from this location has been great for business, due to it's central location and address. It's casual enough to feel relaxed and yet intentional enough to send the message of a serious work environment. Grind is bright, both in physical space, and spirit. There always seems to be a great mix of long-time members and fresh faces. The amenities (printing, coffee bar, bike storage, etc) are good (and all true), and most importantly to me the ownership and management are responsive and engaging. It honestly feels like a home-away-from home The not being open on weekends is a theoretical drawback, but in reality who REALLY wants to come to the office on the weekends.....Grind is probably doing me a favor by keeping me out on Sunday afternoon.

Friendly, helpful staff; great coffee; and a diverse membership (not just techies)! Grind's staff particularly goes out of their way to accommodate the needs of monthly members. When feasible to do so, they've been known to install customer-owned equipment in their server room or to provide temporary storage for large equipment. It's a very modern, flexible-feeling workspace -- not a button-downed formal environment -- that will be culturally at home to folks coming to Silicon Valley or the Bay Area without being exclusive to tech.

Grind is an incredible place to work. I have been in the space for almost 4 months and love everything about it. For starters, there are floor to ceiling windows that give you natural light all day, never making it feel like your stuffed up or working in a cave. There are also numerous places to set up; standing desks, phone rooms, small glass- door conference rooms and more. And one thing many people appreciate is there are not a ton of distractions like ping-pong, yoga classes, loud conversations etc. The staff here have accommodated several requests as my team has grown and they're extremely flexible and helpful. It's also a great mix of ages and types of companies making conversations and networking enjoyable. I would highly recommend this shared space to smaller teams looking for a perfect office set up in the heart of the loop!
